EQRS News Flash: New EQRS Self-Service Onboarding Process

The Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) have enabled Organizations to sign up for the Electronic Data Submission Modernization (EDSM) Application Programming Interface (API), which will allow Organizations to electronically submit  End Stage Renal Disease (ESRD) data to the ESRD Quality Reporting System (EQRS).   

Users with the Facility Batch Role credentials will see the Request EDSM API Access button at the top of the page in the EQRS header bar. Additionally, there is a button on the left menu under Manage Access titled EDSM API. Both buttons will take users to the new self-service onboarding area, where they can request access to electronically transmit data directly to EQRS (Figure 1).
