New EQRS Dashboard: Facility Influenza Vaccination
New EQRS Dashboard: Facility Influenza Vaccination
January 18, 2024
On January 18, 2024, the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) added a new Facility Influenza Vaccination Dashboard on the Reports screen in the End Stage Renal Disease (ESRD) Quality Reporting System (EQRS). Beginning on this date, EQRS users can access the Facility Influenza Vaccination Dashboard by clicking Reports Dashboards from the Reports drop-down tab in EQRS (Figure 1). As a reminder, available dashboard reports in EQRS are determined by the user’s access and role in EQRS.

Users can generate two reports in the Facility Influenza Vaccination Dashboard (Figure 2):
- Facility Summary report
- Patient Details report
The Facility Summary report reflects facility influenza vaccination information for the yearly flu season (August 1st-April 30th) and includes the number of patients that are up to date on their flu vaccine, are eligible for a flu vaccine, and the influenza vaccination rate in the facility. The Patient Details report reflects patient influenza vaccination information entered in EQRS including vaccination status, vaccination date and name (if specified), and more. Users can filter data in the Patient Details report with the EQRS Unique Patient Identifier (UPI) filter field or with the Patient Vaccination Status drop-down filter, if desired.

Users can download and print each report using the Export to CSV or Export to Excel function within the dashboard. Please note that the CSV is the preferred download method, and dashboard content is dictated by the user’s access and role in EQRS. CMS will continue to add new dashboards to the Reports screen in EQRS and will notify the ESRD community via email about new dashboard releases in EQRS.
