EQRS News Flash: EQRS PD Fluid Cell Count Limit Increase

On May 16, 2024, The Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) released a change to the Peritoneal Dialysis (PD) Fluid Cell Count field in the Infection Module in the End Stage Renal Disease (ESRD) Quality Reporting System (EQRS).

This change increased the allowable value for the PD Fluid Cell Count field for adult patients from 4,000 to 50,000.

CMS has updated the validation and error messages in EQRS to reflect this change.
