NHSN Submission Deadlines for Calendar Year 2023
The Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) National Healthcare Safety Network (NHSN) quarterly data submission deadlines for calendar year 2023 are listed below and include the following End Stage Renal Disease Quality Incentive Program (ESRD QIP) measures:
- NHSN Bloodstream Infection (BSI) in Hemodialysis Patients
- NHSN Dialysis Event Reporting
- COVID-19 Vaccination among Healthcare Personnel (HCP)
Dialysis facilities must submit NHSN data by the established deadlines below. Not submitting the required data by these deadlines puts your facility at risk for an ESRD QIP payment reduction. Please note, that if the last day of the month falls on a Saturday, Sunday, or federal holiday, the deadline will occur on the next federal business day. The 2023 NHSN quarterly submission deadlines for ESRD QIP are listed below.
