Clinical Period Filter for Facility Clinical Dashboards Available in EQRS

On September 24, 2024, the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) released an update to the Facility Hemodialysis (HD) and Peritoneal Dialysis (PD) Clinical Dashboards.

End Stage Renal Disease (ESRD) Quality Reporting System (EQRS) users can access these dashboard reports by clicking on the Reports Dashboard from the Reports drop-down in EQRS (Figures 1a, 1b).

The information displayed in the reports is not changing; however, the start and end date entry for clinical period has been replaced with the Clinical Period filter (Figure 2).

This drop-down filter allows users to either select the clinical month from the list or begin typing the clinical month to expedite the search for the desired month (Figure 3).

The clinical period includes a retrospective range of five years. Data are available for all months, regardless of whether they are closed or open. The modification applies to both the HD and PD clinical reports for Facility, Network, Corporate, and CMS user roles.
